The fourth annual Breakfast with the Best, benefiting Action for Children, will be held on September 19, 2007 at the Arena Grand Theatre from 7:30 - 9:00 a.m. This year's featured speaker will be Amy Lyman, Ph.D., Chair of the Board of Directors and co-founder of the Great Place to Work Institute, San Francisco.
Most everyone has heard of Fortune Magazine's 100 Best Companies to Work For in America List. The Great Place to Work Institute is the research company that produces the list. They also produce the same type of list for the European Union, Brazil, Korea, India and a number of other countries throughout Latin America and Asia.
Companies are selected for the Best Companies List primarily on the basis of their employees' responses to the Great Place to Work Trust Index, a proprietary employee survey developed by the Institute and our speaker. Additional information used for selection to the list is provided by completion of the Great Place to Work Culture Audit, a two part management questionnaire, also developed by the Great Place to Work Institute.
For more than 20 years the Institute has advanced the knowledge of what makes a great workplace; recognized the best companies to work for and helpled numerous companies transform their workplaces.
